As a 52 year old man for my heart rate to be in a aerobic training state my heart beat must be above 118 beats per minute which is 70% of my maximum heart rate. once my heart rate goes above 134 beats per minute then it becomes anaerobic cardio which is 80% of my max heart rate. My max heart rate is 168 beats per minute, watch the video and see how close I get to my maximum heart rate.
