I designed this leg exercise for a fighter seven years ago. He was pushing about 80% of what Adeline pushes, 1 leg at a time, 4-6″ movements. I have seen him move people out of the ring with a well placed kick. Adeline is a runner primarily, with good times on marathons, also proficient at yoga. This style of strength training is accused of limiting flexibility and athletic performance, but physiology does not work that way. Strong is strong, and I have never trained an athlete that strength does not help.
