A look at working out with a mace. The mace is a very old tool for real world, functional fitness. The mace requires very little space, making it an ideal tool for workouts that can be done anywhere. If you do not have a mace, you can also use a hammer, a broom, even a log. I have made my own maces in the past using a stick, a large plastic jar and some quick drying cement.
