Methi Pappu – Methi Dal – Indian Vegetarian Recipes for Lunch, Dinner – Telugu vantalu



Methi Pappu or Methi Dal (Fenugreek Pigeon peas) is a special dish of Indian Telugu vantalu. The Telugu dishes are loved by the Indian Vegetarian food Lovers all over the world. Dal and rice with Andhra pickle tastes yummy. This can be prepared as Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner recipe.

Methi
Toor Dal
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt
Oil
Mustard seeds
red chillies
Garlic
Onion
Tomato
Turmeric powder
Chili powder

PREPARATION:

Clean and cut the Fenugreek leaves.

Take Toor dal (split pigeon peas) and soak for 15 minutes. Pressure cook the dal for 3 whistles. Add water, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt to the pressure cooked dal.
